Sumario:León is one of the departments of Nicaragua with greater importance and that counts on many patrimoniales values of the nation. Following the seismic events of 2014, the CNU called on the universities (UNI, UNAN, UCA) to assess the damage of several of these assets, which resulted in teams of specialists and students. Evaluating the historical documentation, the field recognition for the development of the diagnosis, and using the technique of semaphorization (3 levels of damage), it was possible to show in a short time the buildings most deteriorated due to the earthquakes and to build the updated files, with Real estate planimetry information.
