總結:The article focuses on land use planning and its relation with sustainable development, emphasizing the need to incorporate a systemic approach in the planning and management processes. In the first part, it presents a synthesis of territorial conflicts related to Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG11), based on their professional experience in territorial planning in Colombia and Costa Rica. In the second part, two case studies are compared, which were selected to exemplify the lessons learned. Many of the territorial conflicts in the cities analyzed are based on the lack of the use of a systemic approach in territorial analyzes. The main contribution consists of identifying the need to harmonize territorial and environmental planning in the management of the land within the framework of SDG11 to reduce territorial conflicts.
