The study scenario to approach that bond is the Citadel Colsubsidio, it is conceived like a project imagined by the architect and like a project inhabited by the residents. Both projects imply some different practices, the first one is conditioned by the perspectives of the different entities that participate of their conception, administration, design and construction, and for the circumstances in that it has been developed; the second is conditioned by the daily life of the inhabitants, their appropriation, the social relationships that form over the time, and the significances that have of the neighborhood and of the buildings and space that make part of it. One argues that among them an interdependence relationship exists, but that it doesn’t determine the use and the transformation of this, because the neighborhood is a process that has happened and continues to do so, because it is a social space in process of permanent construction. Uno de los aspectos trabajados de manera muy escasa por las diferentes áreas del conocimiento son las relaciones entre el espacio y la sociedad, entre el barrio y la vida barrial. El escenario de estudio para abordar ese vínculo es la Ciudadela Colsubsidio, concebida como proyecto imaginado por el arquitecto y como proyecto habitado por los residentes. Ambos proyectos implican unas prácticas diferentes, el primero está condicionado por las perspectivas de las diferentes entidades que toman parte en su concepción, gestión, diseño y construcción, y por las circunstancias en que se ha desarrollado; el segundo está condicionado por la vida cotidiana de sus habitantes, su apropiación, las relaciones sociales que conforman entre sí a través del tiempo, y las significaciones que tienen del barrio y de los edificios y los espacio que hacen parte de él. Se argumenta que entre ellos existe una relación de interdependencia, pero que aquel no determina el uso y la transformación de éste, pues el barrio es un proceso que se ha dado y se está dando, un espacio social en proceso de construcción permanente.
