| Tóm tắt: | En el presente artículo se expone el resultado parcial de una investigación que se desarrolla en el Instituto de Desarrollo Experimental de la Construcción, la cual incluyó parte de una tesis de maestría, cuyo objetivo principal es el desarrollo de una tecnología para producir un material puzolánico, a partir de lacascarilla de arroz, para utilizarlo como sustituto parcial delcemento Portland en las obras.Se realiza una síntesis de la experiencia internacional en este tema, destacando los resultados más notables que han obtenido otros investigadores, lo cual sirve de antece - dentes a esta investigación.Seguidamente se describe el proceso que se siguió para obtenerexperimentalmente cierta cantidad de puzolana, con la cual se realizaron los ensayos correspondientes para la evaluaciónde su calidad y así establecer sus potencialidades de empleo. Se señalan las con - diciones necesarias para una ceniza de buena calidad y los intentos realizados hasta obtener las característicasdeseadas. Se concluye que el producto obtenido cumple con los estándares de calidad planteados al inicio de la investigación, siendo posible utilizarlo como sustituto parcial del cemento sin detrimento de su calidad e, incluso, con cierta mejoría en algunas de sus propiedades.AbstractIn this article is exposed the partial result of an investigationwhich is developing at the Construction Experimental Development Institute that also includes part of a master thesis, whose main objective is the development of a technology to produce a pozzolanic material, starting from the rice husk ash, to use it as partial substitute of the portland cement in buildings.It is carried out a synthesis of the international experience inthis topic, the most remarkable results that other investigatorshave obtained highlighting, that which serves from antecedents to this investigation. Following is described the followed processto obtain certain quantity of pozzolan experimentally, withwhich was made the corresponding tests to evaluate its quality and this way to establish its employment potentialities. The necessaryconditions are pointed out for a good quality ash and theintents carried out until obtain - ing the wanted characteristics.You concludes that the obtained product fulfils the quality standards outlined at the beginning of the investigation, being possible to use it as a cement partial substitute, without detriment of its quality and even with certain improvement in some of itsproperties.Descriptores:Ceniza de cascarilla de arroz; Puzolanas; Residuos agrícolas;Cemento; Vivienda de bajo costo.Descriptors:Rice husk ash; Pozzolans; Agricultural wastes;Cement; Low incoming housing. |
