Omschrijving
Samenvatting:This paper has the purpose of presenting and discussing the results obtained in a field research pilot project in the city of Conchal-SP. It had the objective of pointing out occupation aspects of the urban void by means of a communitarian vegetable Garden, considering the principles of the City and Healthy Urban Planning Statute. The case study was used as the methodology, encompassing both literature and document research, the use of a Post-Occupation Research Walkthrough tool and oral history of the participants. The communitarian vegetable garden was considered an efficient tool, albeit not the only one, for the occupation of urban voids in the healthy concept since it allowed the reestablishment of intrinsic relationships in the area. These relationships are pivotal for establishing the social function of the public property, enabling social participation and intersectorialization, as well as leveraging local governance, which favors the feeling of a comfortable place, without disturbances, generating pleasure (topophilia), fostering resilient ideas and collectiveness for developing and implementing projects contemplating the urban planning of healthy cities.
