Shrnutí:The transformations of society provided by digital technology impel us to study its implications in the field of architecture. A few decades ago, the impact of the adoption of computer-aided design concerning the presentation and representation of design was noted, and in recent times, digital tools have assumed an increasingly active role in the design process. BIM, parameterization and generative systems are themes related to this transformation and can still be explored in the Brazilian scenario. This study aimed to verify the current panorama of research related to Generative Systems of Design, a theme that, although not exclusively digital, has aroused greater interest with the possibilities offered by the new design tools. As a working method, the Systematic Literature Review (RSL) was adopted in the CAPES Periodic Portal databases and the CumInCAD Cumulative Index. Through a consistent compilation of the publications directed to the theme, made from combinations of keywords, we tried to delineate the outline of the research problem and identify, among others, the principal agents, methods, and techniques used. The analysis of the material took place in two stages, initially in the sample of articles of interest and later in the references used by such articles. With this, it was possible to identify the leading publications, authors, periodicals and area events, as well as establish guidelines for future academic-scientific works based on the diagnosis of trends related to themes, methods, software used and results obtained by the analyzed publications.
