总结:The present work presents a study on structural masonry built inside precast concrete frames dimensioned as part of the system of bracing of buildings, defining this type of element as Infill Shear Wall. Identified the main constructive details of the masonry infill walls that influence the behavior of the precast frame against the horizontal actions. In Brazil, the contribution of these walls is not considered in the design of the structure due to the lack of information and its complexity, which leads to a more conservative design. In this study, identified the main constructive details of the infilled masonry walls that influence the bracing of the buildings. Also, considered the variables and mechanisms that some of the leading international standards used in the analysis of masonry infill walls in frames for the stability of structures. Also, were used the comparison between these standard mechanisms and the model made from the use of a computational tool using the Finite Element Method (FEM). Although there is unanimity regarding the effects of stiffening in the portico by the participant masonry, it is perceived that the formalization of its consideration in the bracing of buildings of precast structures requires a greater knowledge of the technical environment. This work aims, therefore, to contribute to disseminate and critically analyze the constructive details and the usual methods to consider the infill shear wall in the design of buildings.
