Achoimre:This article describes reports of a computational approach experience that aims to provide a dynamic assessment and parametric characteristics (or metrics) related to urban walkability, diversity of uses and density in low-income developments and its surrounding areas. More specifically, this study used tools from the CityMetrics computer system for analysis and intervention in two low-income enterprises - Minha Casa Minha Vida - in the city of Juiz de Fora (MG), as a case study. In this context, it has intended to identify and evaluate a set of weaknesses in the areas addressed and to propose some improvements in the configurations of these neighborhoods, in order to provide urban scenarios more attractive from the point of view of walking, uses and density. Thus, the ultimate goal is to contribute to a better understanding of urban problems - especially in the context of low-income neighborhoods - in accordance with the principles of walkability, diversity and density. Likewise, encourage discussion on the design and especially the implementation of low-income real estate projects in brazilian cities, in order to facilitate the construction of information and the management of solutions related to the scope of urban planning, from the perspective of application of algorithm-parametric tools.
