This article explores the results of those transformations that modified a previous territory, giving it its own identity. It is based on specific forms adjusted to the railway reality. The analysis and the reinterpretation of the territory through the drawing allows to decompose the space and extract its primary logics (systemic and formal) to reveal the structures that define its operation. The order, sequences, rhythms, scales and hierarchies are different facets of a single reality, understood from the perspective of a network. There are the character imposed by the rail system that provide their specific identity to the analysed territory. El presente artículo es parte de la tesis doctoral en desarrollo, Sobre tierra de rieles, que estudia los procesos de transformación del territorio de la región central argentina a partir de la implantación de los sistemas ferroviarios que operan en la región desde mediados del siglo XIX. Aquí se indaga sobre los resultados de esas transformaciones, que modifican el territorio, dotándolo de una identidad propia, a partir de formas especificas ajustadas a las exigencias ferroviarias. El análisis y la reinterpretación del territorio a través del dibujo permiten descomponer el espacio hasta extraer sus lógicas primarias (sistémicas y formales), para develar las estructuras que definen su funcionamiento. El orden, las secuencias, los ritmos, las escalas y las jerarquías son diferentes facetas de una única realidad, entendida desde la perspectiva de una red. Son el carácter impuesto por el sistema ferroviario, que dota de identidad propia y específica al territorio analizado. Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata.
