Facing this problem, this article proposes the elaboration of a guide for the drafting of specific technical specifications, that has a structure that allows to speed up the process of formulation of documents, unify criteria, procedures, and integrate all components in an specification easy to use by builders and auditors, even by non-specialists. In this way is intended to expand the current context and to serve as a guide or path to the inclusion of new concepts.Keywords: Civil works, regulations, criteria, building. En la construcción de obras civiles se siguen cometiendo desaciertos que han ocasionado constantes pérdidas del patrimonio familiar, causado por la inobservancia a las normas y códigos que muy difícilmente se han tratado de implantar en el edificar diario.Frente a esta problemática, se propone la elaboración de una guía para la redacción de especificaciones técnicas particulares que cuente con una estructura tal que permita agilizar el proceso de formulación de documentos, unifique criterios, procedimientos, e integre todos los componentes en una especificación de fácil manejo por parte de constructores y fiscalizadores, incluso por no especialistas. De esta manera se pretende ampliar el contexto actual y servir como una guía o camino a la inclusión de nuevos conceptos.Palabras clave: Obras civiles, normativa, criterios, edificación.
