This is taken from a search in the territorial representation that arises from the visual records of that jurisdiction in the years 1830,1831,1864,1890. Having this as a starting point, the following questions arise:Which continuities and fractures do the different visible temporalities in each register assume? As regards the process of plan production, who made them and what role did they play? Which role did this technical-administrative entities play as intermediate instances between the highest levels of power and the different social actors? Lastly, how was the definite configuration of the territorial borders of the Bonaerense State solved while the National State was consolidating? Este artículo propone aportar a una perpectiva global y de largo plazo del proceso de apropiación territorial de la provincia de Buenos Aires en un periodo formativo del Estado Nacional, a partir de indagar en las representaciones del territorio que surgen de los registros gróficos de esa jurisdicción de los años 1830,1831, 1864 y 1890. Sobre esta base, se formulan los siguientes interrogantes: ¿Qué continuidades y rupturas suponen las distintas temporalidades visibles en cada uno de los registros? En relación con el proceso de producción de los planos ¿quiénes los realizaron y qué papel desempeñaron? y ¿cuál fue el rol que tuvieron estas reparticiones técnico-administrativas como instancias intermedias entre los niveles más elevados de poder y los distintos actores sociales? Por último, a medida que se consolidaba el Estado nacional ¿cómo se resolvió la definitiva configuración de los límites territoriales del Estado bonaerense? Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata.
