Searching to identify aspects wich define them as typologically different from urban houses, and finally, detecting if the urban differences of the contexts affected the materialization of them. La vivienda de veraneo se generó como parte del proceso de difusión del turismo en la costa bonaerense, que dio origen a los “nuevos” balnearios (Pinamar) y a la consolidación de los tradicionales (Mar del Plata).Analizaremos aquí viviendas de veraneo construidas en estos balnearios, entre 1940 y 1960, buscando identificar aspectos que las definan como tipológicamente diferentes a las urbanas, para finalmente detectar si las profundas diferencias urbanísticas de ambos contextos impactaron en la materialización de las mismas.
