Résumé:Zoos are living museums that require the design of the habitat of each animal on display. Landscape architecture has the task of addressing the living environment of plants and wildlife in captivity as well as the provisional dwelling of humans that visit these spaces. This article seeks to present a brief evolution of zoos and the work of the landscape architect in addressing these issues. These allow us to approach nature and became, in addition, sources of inspiration in designing open spaces.
