Summary: | Mies van der Rohe made a project of an architectural ensemble forBacardi y Co. Mexico, from which, only one building holding headquarters of the transnational company was constructed. The story of the only contribution of the German architect in Latin- America coincided with one the most crucial moments of the Cold War: Cuban Revolution and Missile Crisis. Despite the huge influence that Mies inflected on Mexican architecture in the twentieth century, history and critic in this country have been almost absolutely quiet regarding his projects in Tultitlán. |
