Ante el reciente reconocimiento del matrimonio igualitario por la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación y su legalización en Estados Unidos, se evidencia la heterosexualidad naturalizada del espaciourbano, donde parejas convencionales utilizan el espacio público libremente mientras que éste es restrictivo para las parejas homosexuales. En el presente artículo se analiza la producción espacial del género y su materialización urbana desde el caso de estudio de la ciudad de Monterrey.
