The Poetic Coherence of Architecture
Architectural poetics is neither a rhetorical device nor is it an end in itself. Architecture is an art that arises from its fixed utility in a given place. Its poetics must be the unified expression of the functions and components that make up its radical end: the presence of dwelling.
