Resumo:Within Mexico city’s metropolitan area, in addition to Pedregal and Satelite, there may not be another neighborhood in its type that embodies midcentury modern architecture values like Tecamachalco. Nonetheless, in contrast to these examples, Tecamachalco was not promoted as an exemplary model, not it needed to, since it was strategically located and traded an accepted way of life. It´s development illustrates a broader acceptance of modern architecture and the rise of a popular modernist architecture. In this setting Boris Albin house´s played a key role.
