The purpose of this article is to analyze the process of its acquisition by the institution, as well as the immortalization in these engravings of an ephemeral, fragile moment in the history of its gardens. El artículo se ocupa de la serie de aguafuertes Vedute della Villa di Pratolino a Firenze, realizada por el grabador italiano Stefano Della Bella en 1653 y que actualmente forma parte de la colección de la Academia de San Carlos de la Facultad de Artes y Diseño de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los pormenores de la adquisición de dichas obras salvaguardadas en los acervos, así como abordar la permanencia mediante la representación en los grabados, de la disposición efímera y frágil de un momento específico en la historia de los jardines.
