This article explores the history of bothbooks and compares their arguments. Entre toda su vasta producción editorial, Bruno Zevi dedicó dos libros en exclusiva a Frank LloydWright, el primero en 1947 y el segundo en 1979. Ambos fueron traducidos al español y forman parteimportante de la historiografía de la arquitectura moderna en el contexto hispanohablante. Generalmenteconsiderados como un mismo libro que sólo evolucionó a lo largo del tiempo, la revisión desus procesos editoriales y de sus contenidos demuestra lo contrario. Explicar la historia de cada uno deellos y comparar sus argumentos es el objetivo del presente escrito.
