Sumario:This article analyzes the Monterrey architectural projects published in domestic and foreign architecturaljournals in order to enrich the history of Mexican architecture in the mid-twentieth century byincorporating other perspectives. It explores the architects that built in this region, the reasons whythese projects in particular were disseminated and the meanings that these buildings had for Monterreysociety, as well as the possibility that modernity in Monterrey could be explained through theseprint publications.
