The central axis of this study is to understand modern architecture as a process that exposes the precise essence of the form. To analyze critically different projects that show order in its form through esthetic judgment, allows us the opportunity to experience the different processes and design decisions that the author had to confront to be able to develop the project. Thus, the work is focused to make an approach to Aulario III, produced by the Spanish architect Javier García-Solera; using the sketch as a main tool. The aim is found the intrinsically architectural values of the project, this way an evaluation of each structuring element is performed, which allows us to define and expand the knowledge of solid tools used as materials for architectural designing.Keywords: Modern Architecture, architectural analysis, Lecture Hall III, Javier García-Solera. El presente trabajo expone el interés sobre observar el fenómeno llamado proyecto arquitectónico. La arquitectura moderna entendida como un proceso que manifiesta la esencia misma de la forma, es el eje central de este estudio. El analizar con crítica proyectos que evidencian orden formal a través del juicio estético, permite tener la oportunidad de experimentar los procesos y decisiones de diseño que el autor del proyecto ha enfrentado para poder plasmar dicha obra. De este modo el trabajo se enfoca en realizar una aproximación al Aulario III, obra del arquitecto español Javier García-Solera; utilizando como herramienta el dibujo. El objetivo es encontrar los valores intrínsecos arquitectónicos del proyecto, produciendo una puesta en valor de cada uno de los elementos estructurantes -que en conjunto denotan la identidad de la obra- para que nos permitan definir y ampliar el bagaje de herramientas sólidas a manera de materiales de proyecto útiles para el acto de proyectar.Palabras clave: Arquitectura Moderna, Análisis arquitectónico, Aulario III, Javier García- Solera.
