With a catalog designed by Tomás Maldonado, the vicissitudes of this exhibition reveal the state of architectural culture at the time. En 1949, Amancio Williams organizó una exposición en Buenos Aires, que denominó Arquitectura y urbanismo de nuestro tiempo. Se exhibió una importante cantidad de planos y fotos que había conseguido en su viaje a Europa de 1947, en el que contactó con Le Corbusier, Marcel Lods, Pierre Jeanneret y otros, quienes le cedieron o enviaron materiales. Con un catálogo diseñado por Tomás Maldonado, las vicisitudes de la exposición dan cuenta del estado de la cultura arquitectónica de aquel momento.
