Gaia:At present the global and local link becomes an increasingly importance to balanced regional development. The architecture plays a key role as articulator of both scales. In Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia Temple stands as an element that responds to the global space of flows and to the space of places. It aims to understand the reality of these works so that the physical planning of cities put a special look on these urban landmarks. For this is proposed to analyze and evaluate the spatial effect that has been the link between local and global at the Sagrada Familia Temple from a theoretical standpoint and from three areas: the economic, the infrastructural and the morphology. The results show that the project begun by Gaudí in 1883 can meet the demands of both global and local scale and to develop the building along with the neighborhood has not been a negative impact on it.
