要約:In the early decades of the twentieth century, cities in Argentina began to change due to new building methods and the emergence of new needs, which had repurcussions on the ways of living in and conceiving spaces. This involved an open rejection of nineteenth century architecture and the appearance of a repertoire of solutions so innovative that they have revolutionized architectural design to the present day.Based on the study of planimetric and photographic documentation of the examples of First Modernity (1935-1950) in San Miguel de Tucumán, a body of knowledge was brought together that confronted data from local history, resulting in new records of a strange period in the history of city. This body of work, mainly located in the central area of San Miguel de Tucumán, forms an unrecognized architectural heritage that must be made known and deserves to be valued by society in order to be preserved for future generations.
