It was created by the state to encourage intervention on buildings of historic value or structures that are located in areas that are protected because of their historic importance. The author analyses the variables that condition such ventures,emphasizing on those that favor such interventions. El artículo muestra la oportunidad de acción que se presenta para los profesionales arquitectos de participar en el desarrollo de proyectos inmobiliarios factibles de acogerse al “subsidio de rehabilitación patrimonial”, instrumento creado por el Estado con el objeto de propiciar y estimular la intervención de inmuebles de conservación histórica o de inmuebles localizados en zonas de conservaciónhistórica. Se analizan las variables que condicionan los emprendimientos y se establecen las barreras de entrada, destacando las particularidades que propician las intervenciones y la sensibilidad instalada en el medio que garantiza las realizaciones.
