要約:Some design trends in recent Chilean architecture which are descibed as formal displacements within a basic modern pattern, show nevertheless different ideological attitudes toward the Project. The idealistic visión of participative modernity and the human scale of the community architecture of Castillo Velasco, are counterparted with the displacement towards a new regional modern formalism which considers architectural form as detached from functional dogma, generated instead out of other compositional interests. The increasingly eclectic development of great part of the recent architectural production is also reviewed in the light of the period of economic expansión and optimism.
