Resumo:This article presents mobility in the Tarapacá Region as an expression of the organization of habitable space, where the territorial extension of urban nodes is linked in ephemeral settlements of temporary occupations. During the different processes of occupation, cultural exchange practices have nurtured the human-space-territory relationship of patrimonial significance, which is visualized in the ways of understanding Tarapaca's link with the architectural ephemeral response with which is configured in internodal spaces. At present, this cultural heritage is reflected in the summer occupation of the coast, where compared to the current growth of Iquique and its consequent extension planning, the summer activity of camping in microurban configurations can be displaced along with the heritage activities that there they happen.
