El lugar proyectado y múltiple Montes, Juan Pablo How does architecture assume the variables of the place in times of virtual simultaneity? Can the projected topos replace the vast territory? From the contemporary philosophy of space, this work addresses the genealogy of the concept of place to its contemporary understanding, and explores its different concrete expressions, such as the ideo-material hybridization of virtual apps, sharing economy, or the uberization of the city. The interest of this text focuses on these new approaches that restructure reality at the same time ideological and economic-material with which postmodern society develops. This article pursues to set down the foundations for the construction of a new concept, that of syntopia, able to describe and explain these other paradigm changes in the use of the place and the contemporary urban-architectural space.
