总结:This is a study of young poor families with the aim of detecting which is the most vulnerable group as regards housing. The sample consisted of 100 young families living in Peñalolén. Fifty of them belong to a very low social groups (VL) and 50 to a low social group (L). The women living with their men (Grl) were compared to the ones that are alone with their children (Gr2). The results show that the families which belong to the very low social group are affected by deficient housing conditions and are also significatively more affected by the absence of the father than those form the low social class. Women from G2 usually work and are less protected by social security than women from G1. Women from G2 have less access to fresh water and an independent for cooking than those from G1. The results show that the families that are more affected by problems derived from housing are the ones from the very low social group and within this group the ones left by their husbands.
