Yhteenveto:This paper presents the results of a project focused in the improvement of the traditional dwelling in an infested rural village in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, in Chagas' disease areas. Are described people design to improve the traditional dwelling; new components and a rural dwelling prototype. Proposals privilegiates the use of local resources, stabilized earth components and wooden frame. The methodology includes interdisciplinary work, local people participation transference. The project is supported by the University of Buenos Aires and by community local institutions.
