Résumé: | Sustainable architecture focuses on the search for an environmentally conscious design by optimizing the use of natural resources to achieve its objectives. Consistent with these problems, the effort is oriented towards the search for more effective design solutions, more efficient projects that can achieve a balance between human and nature, which has given rise to a new trend known as Biomimetic Architecture ( of "bios" = life, and "mimesis" = imitate). Although architecture and nature have gone hand in hand since the beginning, today biomimetic architecture goes beyond the simple imitation of natural forms, oriented to the analysis of the various natural processes, so as to transpose those behaviors to the facilities of buildings, optimizing habitability and comfort conditions and applying energy saving criteria. It is the objective of the work to describe the technological problems that condition the architectural work through the technological transposition of various behaviors of nature, with an approach from forms, systems and processes, which allows its study according to three differentiated approaches, in which Base biomimetics. The work of Norman Foster known as Gherkin was taken as an analysis unit. |
