Περιγραφή
Περίληψη:During the second half of XIX numerous death processes in Buenos Aires begun in the houses, starting with disease treatments, including funeral practices. The ritual action of the home funeral provided a separation phase between the living and the dead, who was leaving his home, enabling, at the same time, a singular mode of social opening of domestic space. Between 1868 and 1903 the effects of epidemic disease and other domestic and urban circumstances leaded to speeches and actions of questioning and displacing funerals outside the homes, promoting the institution of alternative spaces, elaboration and representation of death.
