| סיכום: | This article deals with the visit of Guglielmo Ferrero and Gina Lombroso to Buenos Aires city, as part of a trip that also took them to Brazil and Uruguay. The impressions of this trip were registered in publications, articles, and letters that are of special interest in the case of the Penitenciaria Nacional. Both scientists expressed in their texts comparisons as to the outstanding reception and implementation of the ideas of their mentor, Cesare Lombroso, father of Gina, in South America in comparison with Europe. Our goal is to show the dichotomies between their perceptions, the latest trends in contemporary penology and the proposals that were formulated in our country after the visit of this two positivist scientists. |
