Description
Résumé:Biography includes the history of a life (individual or collective), the narrative configuration that deals with that history and the writing of that narrative, and can be considered as a field, genre and resource. Under the proposal of François Dosse, the ages of its production (and consumption) have had different articulations, approaches and accents and have maintained distances, divergences and coincidences with the thinking of historians. The editorial formats and the biographical eagerness (even more in the disciplinary field of architecture) have resulted in rigid formats in which names and canon hegemonize writing while suppressing, among other elements, the approaches of biographical research.
