It shows the posible relationships between their architectural experiments and the idea of a “tropical architecture”. Secondly, based on the publication of a monograph about Costa, it explains how the reception of the ideas of the Brazilian architect in Argentina took place in a broader debate about postwar architectural ideologies. Finally, it shows how the genealogy of the “tropical architecture” allows to connect those two moments with the present. |
