Un ejemplo es el relato deMagdalena Soriano, quien nos dice el importante papel que jugó Juan Soriano en laentrañable amistad de Xoxocotla con Lázaro Cárdenas, El tata. Cada vez que los visitabahacían una gran fiesta, mataban una res y todos se vestían con sus mejores atuendos. Setrata de una larga charla donde comparte anécdotas sobre la llegada del tata al pueblo,personaje tan querido pues él los apoyó para que llegara el agua desde el manantialChihuahuita.Los corridos dedicados a Lázaro Cárdenas de Marco Tafolla y de Roberto Orihuelasintetizan la memoria mil veces contada del afecto entre el tata y el pueblo de Xoxocotla.
