Summary:This paper addresses the process of cultural transformation is observed through family alliances established between Wixaritari and teiwari through compadrazgo as a resource for mutual aid and which comes into play a process of acculturation which is mediated by the compadre figure. Is explored through case studies, the role that wixaritari young people play in the teiwari cities and their processes of adaptation to new customs in this other vital reality that arrives. The impacts of this process are explored in the transformation of Wixárika imaginary facing his vision of original world that is revealed by the mythical conception of teiwari and his world as “others” and according to some anthropological interpretations erroneous as “the monstrous”.
