The research focused on the diagnosis of tensions and impacts, the “critical” points of a city, yielding results that clarify the panorama of the problems of a city and give rise to work correctly. That was the objective of this research, to detect impacts and tensions that affect the municipality of Villa de Álvarez through the tools used by “100 Resilient Cities” (100 RC), such as its methodology and software, supported by the framework of resilient cities (CRF) for the same organization. This with the help of the tools and methodology used by the “100 RC” program, for this, those who interact and live in the city, from public and private institutions, universities and citizens, were involved, taking into account the results of specialized workshops, of surveys and expert opinion. All this seeks not only to provide the basis for the development of a resilience strategy at the municipal level, but also aims to leave a background on the issues they will face. Este artículo explora los procesos llevados a cabo en la obtención de un diagnóstico de los principales componentes relacionados con la resiliencia de una ciudad (activos, tensiones e impactos), mediante el programa 100RC. La investigación se enfocó en el diagnóstico de tensiones e impactos, los puntos “críticos” de una ciudad; arrojan resultados que aclaran el panorama de las problemáticas de una ciudad y dan pie a trabajarlas correctamente. Ese fue el objetivo de esta investigación, detectar impactos y tensiones que afecten al municipio de Villa de Álvarez mediante las herramientas utilizadas por “100 Ciudades Resilientes” (100 RC), como lo es su metodología y software, apoyado del marco de ciudades resilientes (CRF por sus siglas en inglés) de la misma organización. Con la ayuda de las herramientas y metodología utilizada por el programa “100 RC”, se involucraron quienes interactúan y viven la ciudad, desde instituciones públicas y privadas, universidades y la ciudadanía; tomando en cuenta resultados de talleres especializados, encuestas y opinión de expertos. Todo esto busca entregar las bases para la elaboración de una estrategia de resiliencia a escala municipal además de dejar un antecedente sobre las problemáticas que se enfrentaran.
