It has specialized chairs taught at higher levels within the civil engineering career itself, as is the subject "Construction Management" to specific courses in the structural area. Likewise, the Internship Unit is supported by locating students who need to complete professional internships in companies affiliated with the Camera; including consultancies in degree works from the civil engineering area La Cámara de la Construcción del Estado Lara en Venezuela, ha venido incentivando cursos a través del convenio establecido con el Decanato de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado, con la finalidad de actualizar y mantener un sistema de capacitación continua de sus agremiados en el área de la construcción. Se tiene desde cátedras especializadas dictadas en niveles superiores dentro de la propia carrera de ingeniería civil, como lo es la asignatura “Gerencia de la Construcción” hasta cursos específicos en el área estructural.
