The specimen in question was subjected to the action of cyclic loads in a single direction, in a pseudostatic test for 5000 s, in order to observe which element of the specimen failed and which the failure mode was. The investigation was based on the use of digital images taken throughout the test, during the loading and unloading cycles, each photo being analyzed with the CORRELI-Q4 subroutine, in order to visualize the places where cracking occurs in the concrete. The use of the application allowed to reveal how cracking in the reinforced concrete occurred during the test, and that the column of reinforced concrete was the one that was most affected by cracking, with cracks just below the concrete beams. En este investigación se estudió el comportamiento de una junta viga-columna experimental a escala real, formada por tres elementos de concreto reforzado, 1 columna y 2 vigas, unidos a una columna de acero estructural en el nivel superior. La probeta en cuestión se sometió a la acción de cargas cíclicas en un solo sentido, mediante un ensayo pseudo-estático por 5000 s, con la finalidad de observar qué elemento de la probeta fallaba y cuál era el modo de falla. La investigación se basó en el uso de imágenes digitales tomadas a la probeta durante el ensayo, y en los ciclos de carga y descarga, siendo analizada cada foto con la sub-rutina CORRELI-Q4, de manera de poder visualizar los lugares donde se produce el agrietamiento en el concreto. El uso de la aplicación permitió revelar como se va produciendo el agrietamiento en el concreto armado a lo largo del ensayo, la columna de concreto armado fue la que resultó más afectada por el agrietamiento, con grietas justo debajo de las vigas de concreto armado.
