The excavation of a habitational complex in Dzehkabtún and the analysis of the associated material allow us to reconstruct part of the development of the site from the Late Classic to the Terminal Classic. The analysis of osteological materials from several burials stratigraphically linked to the construction phases of the central building of this group revealed a high level physical stress, which probably worsened towards the Late Classic when acts of violence such as the intentional destruction of the vaulted buildings were recorded. Este texto describe y analiza la historia de un conjunto arquitectónico del periodo Clásico maya en la península central de Yucatán, Edo. de Campeche, Mpo. de Hopelchén. La excavación de un grupo habitacional de Dzehkabtún y el análisis del material asociado permiten reconstruir parte del desarrollo del sitio desde el Clásico Tardío hasta el Clásico Terminal. El análisis del material óseo de varios entierros vinculados estratigráficamente con las etapas constructivas del edificio central de este grupo reveló un alto nivel de estrés físico, lo cual probablemente se agravó hacia el Clásico Terminal Tardío, cuando se registraron actos de violencia como la destrucción intencional de los edificios abovedados.
