From this context, the reader is invited to review the current state of conceptualizations and heritage legislation, with the intention of considering more integrative theoretical approaches to gender and public space. This interpretative extension is based on the ethnographic review of material disseminated in digital media, with this exercise, we seek to analyze the controversial reactions that have arisen from the physical and virtual interventions made by feminist groups in heritage sites, revealing various narratives in relation to the contemporary resignification and delegitimization of heritage. It should be pointed out that this research is carried out from a multidisciplinary and intersectional point of view, inviting the reader to carry out an in-depth review of the perceptions, attitudes and values that society constructs around historical and cultural assets. En este artículo se plantea la necesidad de reformular las pautas doctrinales que sustentan los estudiospatrimoniales, así como reposicionar la incidencia de los fenómenos sociales en contextos de valor histórico ycultural, en los cuales se genera una paradoja entre la conservación de la materialidad de los bienesmonumentales y la significación producto de los nuevos usos que a ellos se otorgan. Para ello, nos referiremos concretamente a las manifestaciones sociales feministas que se han presentado en los últimos años en el territorio mexicano. A partir de este contexto, se invita al lector a revisitar el estado actual de las conceptualizaciones y legislación patrimonial, con la intención de considerar aproximaciones teóricas más integradoras en torno al género y el espacio público. Este ensanche interpretativo se fundamenta a partir de la revisión etnográfica de material difundido en medios de comunicación digitales. Con este ejercicio, se busca analizar las reacciones polémicas que han surgido a raíz de las intervenciones físicas y virtuales realizadas por grupos feministas en sitios patrimoniales. Esto deja entrever diversas narrativas con relación a la resignificación y deslegitimación contemporánea del patrimonio. Habrá que precisar que esta pesquisa se realiza desde una visión multidisciplinaria e interseccional con la que se invita al lector a realizar una revisión profunda de las percepciones, actitudes y valores que la sociedad construye en torno a los bienes históricos y culturales.
