Sumario:This article investigates and discusses mediator characteristics of space, time, and place references, as well as their influences on social construction processes. It examines the consequences of the man/space/technology relationship in the shaping of the identity of domain spaces and their simultaneous characterization as a cultural inheritance and patrimony of their users. It also briefly explores the interference of the existing capitalist model and its predominance, through hegemonic classes, in the definition of the strategies of intervention, designation, and appropriation of spaces. Finally, it shows the possibility, or need, to look for non-excluding formulas for the shaping and re-designation of spaces, so that they can be used as tools to narrow inequalities and promote social reconciliation.
