| Shrnutí: | This paper provides an analysis of the process of transfering inhabitants from oversea slum "palafitas" in the outskirts of Salvador to the "Conjunto Nova Primavera", popular houses provided by the state government of Bahia in middle of 2002. Besides the moving out process, the omission of the inhabitants participation as well as their adjustment to the new reality are mentioned in this paper. The changing from the an aquatic environment oversea slum "palafitas" to a terrestrial environment (popular houses) demands a reorganization of habits and daily routines. The changing from an informal area urban to another urban space considered formal is followed by financial orders that the new inhabitants, in most cases are not ready to deal with. |
