Sumario:The author reviews the stratification model of urban buildings applied in Bogota, in order to indicate that its application is inadequate in the measurement in which it doesn’t reflect the economic dynamics objectively to that the habitants are held. Indicators as the minimum wage, the district’s internal product brute, the educative covering, the rate of unemployment, the rate of educative cover, the index of necessities not satisfied and others haven’t been considered in a suitable form, what causes the increase of the poverty and the lack of fairness between the social statuses. The author understands the stratification model like the set of e conceptual items and in force operatives, whose result imagines in the existence of six indicators of socioeconomic stratification.
