Resumo:This research studied -from the habitat perspective-, the transformations in indigenous people’s housing in a community sited in the municipality of Leticia, Amazonas, with the purpose of establishing the impacts coming from regional, municipal and other related development projects. During the research implementation there is a process of description and explanation that seeks to propose an understanding of how is, what are the manifestations and what is the relationship between the phenomenon of housing transformation with the principal historical events, as well as its relationship with development projects proposed by external actors. The study records and provides knowledge on the role that indigenous people have in the implementation of their community development projects, and on their vision of the impacts stemming from the development projects and other related influences on the construction of their habitat.
