Zusammenfassung:The World Report on Disability (2011) estimates that around 15% of the world’s population lives with some type of disability. In the cities, they deal the lack of accessibility and mobility in the public space; in addition, suffer exclusion and segregation by various institutions and individuals. This reflection foments the importance of equality, the recognition of dignity, autonomy, respect for difference and the acceptance of disability to promote coexistence in public space in Mexico City.
