要約:The epistemology of design has been the subject of numerous debates. This paper will discuss the possibility of understanding that design has a specificity which cannot be mistaken with another aspect of human activities such as science, art and technique. Based on the postulates of some social scientists, a cognitive structure is proposed not to speak of an object of knowledge, since design is neither a science nor an epistemology. Thus, the possibility of understanding that the specificity of the elements of design is between the sensible and the intelligible, since it shares elements of knowledge with science, and the sensible with art, but without having a direct relation with them. Indeed, we tried to abstract the monitoring of the method in design from the proposal to demonstrate that the elements have a duplicity, in terms of its performance in daily life, from the application of the results of science to make them sensitive in a distance from art.
