Yhteenveto:The concept of landscape has been part of the academic discussion of the last two decades, approached by different disciplines both from a theoretical and methodological perspective, occupying an important place in territorial planning. In this framework, methodologies have been developed to identify landscape units that, from a qualitative perspective, link natural and cultural aspects, and give a fundamental weight to social perception. Based on the critical analysis of these methods that consider the value of everyday and degraded landscapes, a methodology is proposed to delimit landscape units in degraded basins of the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires (RMBA), which could be useful to give a landscape recognition to historically ignored rivers and streams, and to give entity to the basin as a unit of land management and territorial management.
