要約: | This article studies the reconversion of the premises of the former clandestine detention center of the School of Mechanics of the Navy (ESMA) to a memory site through the analysis of the urban renewal process originated by the implementation of different memory policies carried out by the joint management of human rights organizations and different levels of the State. In it, there areconservation policies and material transformation of the property that promote different forms of use, appropriation, meaning and memorization. Our study proposes a spatial perspective of the study of the property, for that reason we carry out an analysis of the urbanistic and architectural conditions as foundations of the memorypolicies that are carried out there. |
